Once you do enter the double antique doors, you will find yourself in a cheerful yet elegant space. The living area to your right offers ample seating and a place to visit with your family and friends in comfort. The open kitchen plan leaves no one out of the conversation with its large counter space with seating for two. The kitchen is fully equipped and a great space to create great meals or just whip together a quick snack. Just to the right of the kitchen is the dining area with a comfortable table for six to enjoy your meals or play cards or board games.

The main focus of the house is the sparkling pool and the lush gardens in the center of the home. With Granada having an average temperature of 90 ̊F, the pool is a definite must-have. A refreshing swim before breakfast will get your day started in a great way. And after a long day of sightseeing, there is no better place to be.

The two master suite bedrooms are located along the back corridor so you are guaranteed quiet nights for sleeping. Each bedroom has air conditioning, a ceiling fan, a queen bed, cable TV, built-in closets, and a private bath with a shower. The windows are screened so you can enjoy the cool lake breezes in the event you choose not to use the air conditioners.

Casa Colibrí is located only three blocks from the center of town. Two blocks south of the home, you will come upon Calle La Calzada, the most visited tourist area in Granada. Calle La Calzada is filled with restaurants, bars, ice cream and gelato stores, tourist offices, and lots of shopping opportunities. The central park is one block west of Calzada and there are many vendors selling wares from Nicaragua.
