Flying Pigs

Actually, there are no flying pigs but there is a fun home on a great piece of property which you will enjoy. Casa Flying Pigs is located on a quiet street just five blocks from the center of town. It sits on a large lot with lots of trees and a beautiful swimming pool.

The house has a garage on the lower level and plenty of parking in the drive. Downstairs there is a full bath with shower and a bedroom with a queen size bed. Upstairs, you will find a beautiful living and dining area, a fully equipped kitchen and the master bedroom. The master bedroom has a queen bed, half bath, closet, ceiling fan and air conditioning

Casa Flying Pigs has some beautiful furnishings and artwork, much of which is made in Nicaragua. Enjoy the beautiful ceramic pottery from San Juan de Oriente and the floor lamp made of rocks, stone and glass, all from the area. The entire length of the living room wall opens up so that you can enjoy the views of the garden and the swimming pool while staying cool with the wonderful breezes. The home is also very private with a security wall around the entire property.

Casa Flying pigs is a great place for a quiet and romantic get-away or a great base if you travel to see other parts of the country. Just imagine yourself sitting back with a cold drink in your hand, tropical birds swooping through your garden and the sound of the waterfall in your ears. So you say, “When pigs fly” and there you have it, the pigs are flying at Casa Flying Pigs!

Electric cost is very high in Nicaragua (the highest in Central America) with the approximate cost per KW hour being U$0.50 cents.  GPS applies 10% of your daily or weekly rental rate towards the cost of electrical usage. Your meter will be read upon check-in and check-out and in the event you have exceeded the 10% allotted, any excess will be charged to your credit card. If the usage is within this established amount, your card will not be charged.
